What should be Suspense?

Hello traveler of the fear that pass by our hair and makes us feel alive again. Who told you that the horror time should be over? Dad… Mom? They had their time and, unfortunately, they had an immature conclusion about thinking of the end of that time. They thought be too adult to watch or read the fantastic cries and sights of love to the brand new feeling of horror. Do not listen to your mind trying to tell you what to do. Just think… Think.

As promised, I will tell you the difference between the classes of fear´s fiction. The first class we are going to work, briefly, is the order of the suspense. What is suspense? What would be a suspense feeling? Should we follow, exactly, what the name means and delight ourselves on the definition of scary? Everything that makes us cry, or flee from reality by a sudden moment of disgust? We will not credit innocents words to hard and irreverent fateful act.

The work of suspense through the feeling of apprehension to the unknown that other authors tend to adopt to distinguish the literary subgenre. A work of fiction suspense usually rather acknowledge the apprehension as a primary factor to the implementation of that ideal if you plan on it, but what else should draw the attention inside the feeling is the idealization of what cannot be achieved. Not imagine what is going to happen cause us some apprehension, but that is not what makes us susceptible to shock. What take us as nerves disorder precisely the lack of insight of how to act in front of any situation.

Think well, if we found ourselves in a situation with which we knew the deal, there would be no suspense. We would be apprehensive, but the suspense would not take the reins of the situation. Enter, then, the scope of fallible joint force of self-control. The suspense does not make us apprehensive, just with something we do not know, let's also something we do not know how to cope.

In the short story by Stephen King, "The Mist" we can see that the characters do not see fear as the apprehension of what they do not know, because even after knowing the shape of human beings with whom they were dealing, continued with the feeling of suspense not knowing how to act before the situation in which they were. Leaving the exception that I do not claim, in this expression, the story above is a work of suspense, only retreat of its main part a cry to the veracity of the arguments made. First, we are going to analyze the difference between feelings, then, analyze the works and their differences.

So the suspense is not only the seizure caused by unknown and is not a mere scare that we encounter in the terrifying scenes , but the lack of proper support to deal with situations that are dedicated to the collection. Look at something and not knowing how to act is part of being human, that is why the works of the subgenre of suspense still make total success for the shares of those tours with them. The Suspense is caused by the high level of knowledge of what comes next. The seizure is part of the work, but in no case is the cornerstone to its existence.

O que seria o sentimento de Suspense?

Olá viajantes do medo e dos calafrios excitantes que perpassam os nossos pelos e nos fazem sentir vivos novamente. Quem disse que o tempo do horror havia acabado? Papai, mamãe...? Eles já tiveram os seus tempos e, infelizmente, tiveram uma conclusão imatura e infantil ao pensar que o este havia passado e que eles já eram grandes demais para ouvir os gritos e os suspiros do amor ao inovador sentimento do horror. Não dêem ouvidos aos papos que a sua mente vem levando com o seu consciente. Pensem, pensem... Pensem.

Como prometido, vou relatar a vocês as diferenças entre as classes das Ficções do medo. A primeira que vamos trabalhar, sucintamente, será a ordem de Suspense. O que é suspense? O que seria um sentimento de suspense? Deveríamos seguir, à risca, o que o nome quer dizer e nos deleitar sobre a definição do susto? Tudo aquilo que nos faz gritar, ou fugir da realidade através de um súbito momento de aversão? Não vamos creditar tão inocentes palavras ao árduo e irreverente ato fatídico.

A obra de suspense atravessa o sentimento de apreensão ao desconhecido que os demais autores costumam adotar para distinguir o subgênero literário. Uma obra da ficção do suspense costuma sim reconhecer a apreensão como um dos fatores primordiais para a execução ideal do que se planeja dentro deste, porém, o que mais se deve chamar a atenção dentro do sentimento é a idealização do que não se pode concretizar. Não imaginar o que está pra acontecer nos causa uma certa apreensão, mas não é isso que nos torna susceptível ao susto. O que nos toma como desordem dos nervos é, exatamente, a falta de perspicácia do saber agir diante de qualquer situação.

Pensemos bem, se nos encontrássemos numa situação com a qual soubéssemos lidar, não haveria o suspense. Estaríamos apreensivos, mas o suspense não tomaria a rédea da situação. Entraria, aí, o âmbito da falível articulação da força de autocontrole. O suspense não nos deixa apreensivos, apenas, com algo que não conhecemos, nos deixa, também, com algo que não sabemos como lidar.

No conto, de Stephen King, “O Nevoeiro”, podemos perceber que os personagens não encaram o medo como a apreensão ao que não conhecem, pois, mesmo depois de conhecerem o feitio dos seres com quem estavam lidando, continuaram com o sentimento de suspense presente por não saber como agir perante a situação em que se encontravam. Deixando a ressalva de que não afirmo, nesta expressão, que o conto supracitado seja uma obra de suspense, apenas retiro da sua parte principal uma exclamação à veracidade dos argumentos feitos. Primeiramente, analisaremos a diferença entre os sentimentos, depois, analisaremos as obras e as suas divergências.

Então, o suspense, não é apenas a apreensão causada pelo desconhecido e não é o mero susto que levamos ao nos deparar com cenas aterrorizantes, mas sim a falta de suporte próprio para enfrentar situações que nos estão dedicadas ao acervo. Encarar algo e não saber como agir é próprio do ser humano, é por isso que as obras do subgênero do suspense ainda fazem total sucesso durante as participações guiadas de quem as acompanha. O Suspense é causado pelo alto teor do desconhecimento do que vem a seguir. A apreensão faz parte da obra, mas, de hipótese alguma, é a peça fundamental para que ela exista.
